Do not serve an unknown assassin, they can poison you with a mere touch, only serve those you know to be allies of your home, ask Owner or Ruler in whisper if unsure before doing so.

Assassins trust very few so the kajira serving must always make certain that He can see what she is doing.

1. ALWAYS ask permission to approach to offer service.

2. Ask Him if He has His private drinking vessel with Him (most carry their own with them) --- If the requested drink is kept in a bota or bottle, ask Him if he wants you to bring a "sealed" bota/bottle to Him so He can watch you break the seal and pour it. If so, do not take his vessel at this time. Tell him you will ask for it when you return.

3. If you take his vessel with you, always handle the vessel by the bottom --- hold it upside down if you carry it, holding it away from your body.

4. Never let it out of His site --- if going to the cold room, place it on the counter for Him to see OR let the door wide open stating for Him to see.

5. Never wipe the dish or drinking vessel for an Assassin.

6. Never touch the rim of any dish or vessel to check for flaws.

7. Never let the vessel touch any part of your body.

8. Never kiss the vessel.

9. NEVER ask if the assassin wants the drink or food tested, it is an insult to them.

10. Since an Assassin wears gloves, instead of opening your mouth for a coin, fold your silks to take the coin and then deposit it in the coin box.

**NOTE** Only girls of red silk and higher are allowed to serve an Assassin.
